At Castle Academy, we offer a broad and balanced curriculum which aims to promote collaborative, resilient, resourceful and reflective learners.

Our maths curriculum follows the three main aims of the National Curriculum: fluency, reasoning and problem solving. We personalise the curriculum by making it accessible to all: our curriculum is inclusive. It strives to meet the needs of all learners and is delivered by passionate and supportive staff who aim to challenge all in consolidating and deepening their understanding. Through manipulatives in the classroom and different mathematical representations of ideas, children will be encouraged to think harder and demonstrate their cognitive understanding in a variety of ways.
