Every child deserves to be the best they can be
All schools within the EMAT family now have at least two elected members who are attending regular sessions to debate upon meaningful and weighty matters of concern at their schools and local communities.
Following elections held in the autumn the Castle Academy representatives on the EMAT Pupil Parliament for 2025-26 are: Filip and Alexandria
Here at Castle Academy, we have a Pupil Parliament that promotes pupil leadership opportunities, enabling children to develop valuable communication, organisation and debating skills through key roles of responsibility and new experiences. It allows pupils to be actively involved in the way that the school is run.
Our Pupil Parliament members this year are:
Alexandria from Year 5 and Filip from Year 6.
Alexandria and Filip have both been democratically elected to their positions. Each term they attend a Trust wide Pupil Parliament meeting where they discuss the work that is taking place within our school with regards to the three priorities for the year. These are the priorities for this year.
Alexandria and Filip are busy considering how we can move our school forward in these areas and we look forward to sharing updates with you as the work progresses over the coming year.
